Ingredients:

  • 4 (6 oz / 170g) Tilapia fillets
  • 1 tbsp (15ml) Olive oil
  • ½ tsp (3g) Salt
  • ¼ tsp (1g) Black pepper
  • 3 tbsp (42g) Unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tbsp (15ml) Fresh lemon juice
  • 2 cloves (6g) Garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp (4g) Fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Pat the tilapia fillets dry with paper towels to remove surface moisture.
  3. Brush each fillet with olive oil and season both sides with salt and pepper.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together melted butter, lemon juice, and minced garlic.
  5. Spoon the lemon butter mixture evenly over each fillet.
  6. Bake for 12–15 minutes until the flesh is opaque white and flakes easily with a fork (internal temperature of 145°F/63°C).
  7. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
