Ingredients:

  • 4 (6 oz) tilapia fillets
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Pat each tilapia fillet bone-dry with paper towels to ensure better texture and searing.
  3. Sprinkle both sides of the fillets with sea salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together melted unsalted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, and lemon zest until emulsified, then stir in the chopped parsley.
  5. Place seasoned fillets on the baking sheet and spoon the garlic butter mixture evenly over each fillet, coating the edges.
  6. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork (internal temperature of 145°F).
