Ingredients:
- 4 (6 oz) tilapia fillets
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 1 tsp lemon zest
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Pat each tilapia fillet bone-dry with paper towels to ensure better texture and searing.
- Sprinkle both sides of the fillets with sea salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika.
- In a small bowl, whisk together melted unsalted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, and lemon zest until emulsified, then stir in the chopped parsley.
- Place seasoned fillets on the baking sheet and spoon the garlic butter mixture evenly over each fillet, coating the edges.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork (internal temperature of 145°F).
