Ingredients:
- 4 (6 oz / 170 g) tilapia fillets
- 1 lb (450 g) broccoli florets, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 tbsp (30 ml) olive oil, divided
- 3 tbsp (42 g) unsalted butter, melted
- 2 tbsp (30 ml) fresh lemon juice
- 3 cloves (9 g) garlic, minced
- 1 tsp (2 g) smoked paprika
- ½ tsp (3 g) salt
- ¼ tsp (1 g) black pepper
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line your baking sheet with parchment paper or foil to ensure no sticking.
- Pat the tilapia fillets completely dry with paper towels to prevent steaming.
- Place the broccoli florets on one side of the pan. Drizzle with 1 tbsp (15 ml) of olive oil and a pinch of salt and pepper. Toss to coat and spread in a single layer.
- Arrange the tilapia fillets on the other side of the pan. Drizzle the remaining 1 tbsp (15 ml) of olive oil over the fish.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, lemon juice, minced garlic, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Generously spoon the garlic butter glaze over each fillet and drizzle the remaining sauce over the broccoli.
- Bake in the center rack of the oven for 12–15 minutes until the fish is opaque and flakes easily and broccoli edges are charred brown.
- Optional: Turn on the broiler for the final 2 minutes for extra crispy broccoli.
