Ingredients:

  • 4 (6 oz / 170 g) tilapia fillets
  • 1 lb (450 g) broccoli florets, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tbsp (30 ml) olive oil, divided
  • 3 tbsp (42 g) unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tbsp (30 ml) fresh lemon juice
  • 3 cloves (9 g) garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp (2 g) smoked paprika
  • ½ tsp (3 g) salt
  • ¼ tsp (1 g) black pepper

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line your baking sheet with parchment paper or foil to ensure no sticking.
  2. Pat the tilapia fillets completely dry with paper towels to prevent steaming.
  3. Place the broccoli florets on one side of the pan. Drizzle with 1 tbsp (15 ml) of olive oil and a pinch of salt and pepper. Toss to coat and spread in a single layer.
  4. Arrange the tilapia fillets on the other side of the pan. Drizzle the remaining 1 tbsp (15 ml) of olive oil over the fish.
  5. In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, lemon juice, minced garlic, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
  6. Generously spoon the garlic butter glaze over each fillet and drizzle the remaining sauce over the broccoli.
  7. Bake in the center rack of the oven for 12–15 minutes until the fish is opaque and flakes easily and broccoli edges are charred brown.
  8. Optional: Turn on the broiler for the final 2 minutes for extra crispy broccoli.
