Ingredients:
- 1 tbsp coarse sea salt
- 0.5 tsp Tajín or ancho chili powder
- 0.5 tsp organic coconut sugar
- 1 lime wedge
- 3 large fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
- 3 thin rounds of fresh jalapeño
- 0.5 oz agave nectar
- 2 oz premium blanco tequila
- 1 oz fresh lime juice
- 0.5 oz orange liqueur
Instructions:
- Combine the sea salt, chili powder, and coconut sugar on a small plate. Run a lime wedge around the rim of a rocks glass, then dip the rim into the salt mixture at a 45-degree angle. Fill the glass with fresh ice.
- In a cocktail shaker, combine the sliced strawberries, jalapeño rounds, and agave nectar. Muddle firmly until the strawberries are completely pulped and jalapeño oils are released.
- Add the tequila, lime juice, and orange liqueur to the shaker. Fill the shaker 3/4 full with ice.
- Shake vigorously for at least 15 seconds until the outside of the shaker is frosted. Double strain through a fine-mesh strainer into the prepared glass.
