Ingredients:
- 4 (6 oz / 170 g) white fish fillets (Cod, Tilapia, or Halibut)
- 2 tbsp (28 g) melted unsalted butter
- 1 tbsp (15 ml) fresh lemon juice
- 1 tsp (2 g) garlic powder
- ½ tsp (1 g) paprika
- ½ tsp (3 g) kosher salt
- ¼ tsp (1 g) cracked black pepper
- 1 tbsp (4 g) fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 lemon, sliced into rounds
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Line your baking sheet with parchment paper to ensure a clean release and easy cleanup.
- Pat the fish fillets completely dry with paper towels to prevent steaming.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, lemon juice, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper until the mixture is emulsified.
- Place the fillets on the prepared baking sheet.
- Brush the flavor mixture evenly over the top and sides of each fillet.
- Place one lemon slice on top of each fillet for added brightness.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes until the fish is opaque throughout and flakes easily with a fork.
