Ingredients:

  • 4 (6 oz / 170 g) white fish fillets (Cod, Tilapia, or Halibut)
  • 2 tbsp (28 g) melted unsalted butter
  • 1 tbsp (15 ml) fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp (2 g) garlic powder
  • ½ tsp (1 g) paprika
  • ½ tsp (3 g) kosher salt
  • ¼ tsp (1 g) cracked black pepper
  • 1 tbsp (4 g) fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 lemon, sliced into rounds

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Line your baking sheet with parchment paper to ensure a clean release and easy cleanup.
  3. Pat the fish fillets completely dry with paper towels to prevent steaming.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, lemon juice, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper until the mixture is emulsified.
  5. Place the fillets on the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Brush the flavor mixture evenly over the top and sides of each fillet.
  7. Place one lemon slice on top of each fillet for added brightness.
  8. Bake for 12–15 minutes until the fish is opaque throughout and flakes easily with a fork.
