Ingredients:
- 4 (6 oz / 170 g) tilapia fillets
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 1 tsp lemon zest
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/4 tsp dried oregano
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Line your baking sheet with foil and lightly grease it with olive oil to ensure no sticking.
- Pat the tilapia fillets completely dry with paper towels to prevent the fish from steaming.
- Arrange fillets on the pan, leaving at least one inch of space between each.
- Season both sides of the fish lightly with salt and pepper.
- In a small bowl, whisk together melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, zest, paprika, and oregano.
- Generously brush the glaze over the top of each fillet, ensuring the edges are well-coated to prevent drying.
- Place the pan on the center oven rack and bake for 12–15 minutes until the flesh is opaque and flakes easily with a fork, or reaches an internal temperature of 140°F (60°C).
