Ingredients:

  • 4 (6 oz) tilapia fillets
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/4 tsp paprika
  • 1 lemon, thinly sliced into rounds
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Fold each parchment square in half to create a crease, then open it back up. Place one tilapia fillet on one side of the crease, centering it to allow room for folding.
  2. Season each fillet with kosher salt and black pepper.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, lemon juice, minced garlic, oregano, and paprika. Drizzle the mixture evenly over each fillet.
  4. Top each piece of fish with 2-3 fresh lemon slices.
  5. Fold the parchment over the fish and crimp the edges tightly to seal the packet. Place the packets on a large rimmed baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 10–12 minutes until the packets are puffed with steam and the fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
  7. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
