Ingredients:
- 4 (6 oz) tilapia fillets
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- 1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
- 1/4 tsp paprika
- 1 lemon, thinly sliced into rounds
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Fold each parchment square in half to create a crease, then open it back up. Place one tilapia fillet on one side of the crease, centering it to allow room for folding.
- Season each fillet with kosher salt and black pepper.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, lemon juice, minced garlic, oregano, and paprika. Drizzle the mixture evenly over each fillet.
- Top each piece of fish with 2-3 fresh lemon slices.
- Fold the parchment over the fish and crimp the edges tightly to seal the packet. Place the packets on a large rimmed baking sheet.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes until the packets are puffed with steam and the fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
- Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
