Ingredients:
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 3 tbsp taco seasoning
- 1/4 cup water
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup full fat sour cream
- 1 tsp lime juice
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 2 cups shredded Mexican-style cheese
- 1 cup guacamole
- 1/2 cup sliced black olives
Instructions:
- Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat until no pink remains.
- Stir in the taco seasoning and water; simmer for 5 minutes until the liquid has reduced to a thick glaze.
- Transfer the beef to a bowl and let it cool completely to room temperature to prevent layer slide.
- In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, sour cream, lime juice, and garlic powder until the texture is velvety and smooth.
- Spread the cooled ground beef evenly across the bottom of a 9x9 inch baking dish or platter.
- Layer the shredded Mexican-style cheese and guacamole over the beef.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture over the top, smoothing it to the edges with a spatula to create a flat, white canvas.
- Create a border around the edge and use a piping bag to decorate the top with a sour cream spider web and olive spiders.
