Ingredients:
- 4 6 oz tilapia fillets
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp paprika
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped
- 1/4 tsp onion powder
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Use paper towels to pat each tilapia fillet bone-dry to ensure the butter glazes the fish rather than steaming it.
- Place fillets on the pan and season evenly with salt, pepper, and paprika.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, onion powder, and half of the chopped parsley until the mixture is smooth.
- Spoon the garlic butter mixture generously over each fillet, ensuring the edges are fully coated.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes until the butter is bubbling, edges are slightly golden, and the flesh flakes easily with a fork.
- Remove from the oven and immediately garnish with the remaining fresh parsley and an extra squeeze of fresh lemon.
