Ingredients:
- 4 (6 oz) tilapia fillets
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 cup Panko breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and place a wire cooling rack inside a rimmed baking sheet.
- Use paper towels to firmly pat each tilapia fillet dry to remove surface moisture.
- In a small mixing bowl, combine Panko breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, and dried oregano. Stir until spices are evenly distributed.
- Brush the top of each fillet with olive oil. Press the fish firmly into the breadcrumb mixture, coating the top and sides.
- Place the coated fillets on the wire rack and bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the crust is mahogany-gold and the fish flakes easily with a fork.
