Ingredients:
- 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts (approx. 1.5 lbs / 680g)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a large rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil. Note: Foil makes cleanup a breeze.
- Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels. Until the surface is completely matte. Note: Wet chicken doesn't brown.
- In a small mixing bowl, whisk together the olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
- Rub the oil and seasoning mixture evenly over all sides of each chicken breast. Until fully coated in a red gold paste.
- Place the chicken breasts on the prepared baking sheet. Ensure they are not touching each other.
- Bake for 15–18 minutes. Until the edges are golden and a thermometer reads 160°F (71°C) in the thickest part.
- Transfer the chicken to a plate immediately.
- Tent loosely with foil and let the meat rest for 5 minutes. Until the juices stop running.
