Ingredients:

  • 4 (6 oz / 170g) tilapia fillets
  • 1/2 tsp (3g) salt
  • 1/4 tsp (1g) black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp (2g) paprika
  • 4 tbsp (56g) unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 cloves (9g) garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp (15ml) fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp (2g) lemon zest
  • 1 tbsp (3g) fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Pat each tilapia fillet completely dry using paper towels.
  3. Lightly season both sides of the fillets with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, and lemon zest until emulsified.
  5. Spoon the garlic butter glaze evenly over the top of each fillet, covering the edges.
  6. Bake on the center rack for 10–12 minutes, or until the flesh is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
  7. Remove from the oven, sprinkle with fresh parsley, and let the fish rest for 2 minutes before serving.
