Ingredients:

  • 1 lb sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 tbsp avocado oil
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/8 tsp black pepper

Instructions:

  1. Wash and peel the sweet potatoes, then cut them into uniform 1-inch cubes.
  2. In a large bowl, toss the cubes with avocado oil to ensure every surface is lubricated.
  3. Sprinkle the sea salt, smoked paprika, garlic powder, and black pepper over the potatoes and toss again to coat evenly.
  4. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  5. Arrange the sweet potato cubes in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  6. Roast for 12–15 minutes, shaking the basket vigorously every 5 minutes to ensure even browning.
  7. Remove from the air fryer when the edges are charred and the centers feel tender when pierced with a fork.
